Just listened to the Gannon interview, he has a clause in his Stockport contract whereby if another club makes an official approach (which we did), the Stockport chairman has to tell Gannon the approach has been made, and it is up to Gannon if he goes to talk to the club that made the approach (which he did). The compensation package for Stockport is also already sorted in his contract if he did say yes.

Means there should be few hold ups if any, if he did say yes to does

still dont believe he would leave Wrexham for that position though, if anything Gannon (should he be appointed) will bring his own people.

If true sounds a reasonable appointment it's whether he is good enough at Championship level that counts - well i suppose that is a unknown quantity at present.
