Yes. Last time I looked Portslade was in Portslade, same as Hove is in Hove etc etc.

The OFFICIAL postal addresses of these two towns are these:-

Portslade
Brighton

Hove
East Sussex

Or at least that was how it was before postcodes replaced "Brighton" or "East Sussex" as the final line of an "official" address - and that was a long time after Hove ceased to be part of the administrative county of East Sussex.
