Forgotten/defunct Brands You Have Loved.....

My first bank account was a junior savings account with the ANGLIA building society in Hove and I found the passbook yesterday, it got me thinking about great brands lost in time. Anglia merged with Nationwide Building Society to become Nationwide Anglia and eventually the 'Anglia' was dropped.

I also liked the FORD Anglia!

Can you still get Rise N' Shine orange drink powder (around in the 80's)?

Can you still get Texan bars - they were fantastic?

and good old BRITISH LEYLAND cars - appallingly manufactured by you can't beat the TRIUMPH DOLOMITE, AUSTIN PRINCESS or MORRIS MARINA!

What about Colt45 beer (my dad used to drink it)

or Watneys pubs (the Racehill in Lewes Road still has some signs up for their products inside)

and not forgetting KP Good n' crunchy crisps.....does anyone else have fond memories of brands you don't see anymore?

Please tell me you don't really miss Grotneys?

I miss Snickers being called Marathon and the Sinclair Spectrum.

Also, have king size Mars bars got one hell of a lot smaller or do I just have bigger hands these days?

I'm sure Colt 45 is still around. I used to like that.

Had that in the US not so long ago. Sure it didn't taste the same though.

Whatever happened to Corona fizzy drinks?

I used to try to nick bottles of the stuff from the Corona lorry. The crates were at an angle and so there were hundreds of bottles temptingly placed, but the driver was always on the lookout for us pesky kids.
