What will you do when we get there in the next 5 years. Walk away from the Albion disgusted at the wages we will be paying players or the over commercialising of the club etc etc.

Easy to say it wouldnt be good but that season we stayed up under McGhee was absolutely amazing. Every win was celebrated like a cup final.
This is how it would be in the premier league, the difference being we would be all over the press with everyone discussing us. I think there would be massive massive pride in our city due to the exposure, even more than we have now.

Problem is that the novelty of being regularly spanked quickly wears off.
In 1980/81with four matches to go we were rock bottom, but we beat Palace and Leicester to give us an outside chance of staying in the old first (Premier) division, but we were still in the relegation spot.
We went to Roker Park to play Sunderland, and they were a point above us, a 91st minute goal from Gary Williams gave us a memorable 2-1 victory.
There were 42 Albion fans in attendance.
These days, we'd be able to watch the game live on the telly. Maybe only 14 would go.Problem is that the novelty of being regularly spanked quickly wears off.
