A lot of my favourites have already been listed, Goodfellas, Shawshank, Pulp Fiction, Usual Suspects, Se7en but of those that haven't I will throw into the ring a different kind of film....Airplane

Just thought of another one not mentioned too, the best foreign film I have seen is Life is Beautiful.

One flew over the cuckoo's nest

I watched the first hour of OFOTCN and couldn't watch any more as it was pissing me right off with the stereotyping.

Shallow Grave is my favourite. A creepy psychological thriller with brilliant acting by Ewan McGregor and David Tennant.

Some great selections there Mr Spielberg - Schindlers List, Se7en, Magnolia, ET, Silence of the Lambs, Saving Private Ryan, Pulp Fiction and Gran Torino are all in my top 10 or so. I'd add Best in Show, Signs, Up, Toy Story, Kill Bill and No Country for Old Men and the first 3 Indiana Jones films.

glad someone put 'signs' up . not my fave film but id give it a 9/10 , most people seem to think its shit. personally i find it terrifying

again not my favourite film but a little know film with a young sam rockwell in (best actor around at the moment i think) and john turturro (another brilliant actor). its called box of moonlight , about an unlikely friendship between a stuffy mid life crisised salesman and a mad hippy bloke called the kid. 9/10

its called 'box of moonlight' and i reccomend it to anyone. think uncle spielberg may like it, theres a reccommendation for you
