Leslie Grantham aka Dirty Dennis Watts, on the tube, coming back from West Ham vs Leeds on a Monday night.

Ian Smith aka Harold Bishop, in the Dome theatre car park in about 1989, this was when him and Madge were doing panto.

Various footballers and Sussex cricketers, but not what you would call 'met' for a proper length of time'

Oh, and not forgetting Kev the ape! :clap2:

I had tea and biscuits with Fatboy Slim and Zoe at Fatboy Towers one memorable summer's evening a few years back. Plus Jamie Oliver lives just down the road and drinks in the local pub. Pukka.

Who are you ?

Richard or Judy ?

Lol. It comes from living 23 years in Los Angeles and not Brighton. If all the people I met listied me as someone they had met, I'd be 'somebody' I suppose.

Whoever Richard and Judy are, someone else below your post knows them!

Pat Eddery
Frankie Detorri
Lester Piggot
Jasper Carrot
Janice Long
John Byrne

Had all of the above in the back of my taxi, not at the same time, of course.

Also met David Suchet (Hercule Poirot) and some of the cast of Tenko when they were filming at Shoreham Airport.

Plus some of the usual Albion suspects (old and new). Oh, and some of the old Sussex players when we played them in a friendly on Southwick Green (Wells brothers era)

As a child, when my Dad worked in a number of British Embassies

- Michael Caine, Karl Malden, Ken Russell:
set of Billion Dollar Brain, Finland 1965
- Tom Jones, Sydney 1968
- Norman Wisdom, Sydney 1968

Working in Hatchards, Brighton, 1982:

- Patrick Lichfield

Others:
-Tom Petty sat next to me to watch Nils Lofgren's set at the Dome in 1977

- Linda Lusardi, Cheshunt Swimming Pool 2006

- John Snow, was half-heartedly coached by him at SCCC in 1974

I went to that gig, was a big fan of Lofgren at the time. I went to London to see him around then too, before bumping into him at a Stones gig in Wembley when we were both trying to sneak down the floor seats to get nearer the stage. Had a brief chat, but the RS were playing, so too much going on to exchange more than a few pleasantries.
