I'll add to the above that I'm going to buy a board plugin which will allow us to restrict selected users to a maximum number of posts per day.

It will be another tool available to us to help temper those who can overwhelm discussions.

Is he here yet ?, IS HE HERE YET ?, IS HE HERE YET ?, IS HE HERE YET ?, IS HE HERE YET ?, IS HE HERE YET ?

It’s a bit unfair to apply that to a thread that stands alone in a sea of other threads about various options on the table for a manager.

If people feel “overwhelmed” by my numerous comments justifying why I started the thread, why don’t they just put the thread on ignore?

Do you realise Bozza, the OP was specifically to argue that Hurzeler was our best fit - there have been numerous other threads arguing that other prospects are. The discussion is about his suitability
I think it might be that other fella who's doing the overwhelming.

You'll be OK. It's a post limit not a key press limit.;)

You are acting like a moron with your attitude, thread spamming and victim complex. This isn’t your first account, I’m assuming. Do a bit of introspection and think honestly to yourself “is everyone else a licker who sucks up to the moderators and is a sheep with no views of their own?” or “am I needlessly and pointlessly antagonistic and a adversarial try-hard who, no matter how ‘clean breaks’ I have in life, keep having the same thing happen to me”.

I strongly suspect it’s the latter but it’s not the end of the world. Make changes, adjust your behaviour, and you too can avoid these constant “harassments” and “unjust things” which happen to you. Then you’ll realise, your behaviour is the problem, not the rest of society.
Sorry officer! Was just killing time and having some fun.

Only one person who wants to derail the thread.

Step back and take a breath. I don't think it was intended as any reference to you

And when he gets confirmed as manager, I hope you are as mature and modest as @dwayne was when he was the first who mentioned Potter ???

Surely they can skip your posts? I don’t feel overwhelmed by your input, nor would many others. Perhaps there is someone else that is abusing their posting power? I’m not on this thread often, so I cannot comment for sure.

I think the best way to deal with people who bore on a thread is not to reply to them regardless of what they might have said to wind you up. That way they will just be talking to themselves.
I like to make liberal use of the 'Ignore' function.

NSC is like a digital pub. When I'm in a pub and some bloke is being a pain I'll ignore them and chat to other people.

Exact same here. Means I can let the Potter guys sit at their section of the bar happily nattering away to themselves whilst I enjoy a chat about an exciting young manager who looks to be headed for our dugout.

Fab says Fab is a go-er!
It's always a mystery to me about Fab. 95% of speculation is tosh or near tosh. He's nearly always right.

Yet folk always have a go- until he posts something like this 😂

Can the cricket threads be exempt ? I've never seen folk argue on them, except in a civil way, and It'll be utterly depressing if I can't post all the crap I do on them.

I’ve never used the ignore button. Even idiots sometimes contribute something of interest 😂
