How does everyone see this race going then?

Hoping for a Hamilton win, but I think the Brawn's will dominate in the hotter conditions.:(

Big race for Brawn, this should be the best grand prix for some time as so much at stake.

I hear that the young Spainiard will hold Bourdais' seat until the last race, when Loeb (world rally driver) will make a guest appearance...

...I'm not sure of the validity of this however - I just thought it was decent gossip.

Hoping Hamilton can actually restrain himself from driving like a dick in qualifying and the race for once and keep the red mist at bay that has blighted so much of his season. He has made a shit car look worse than it is imo. His car will be good enough to be competitive in this race ...is the driver still up to it? Alonso to be in the mix as well imo.

How has he driven like a dick? I .

By OVERDRIVING and being impatient. You won't like to hear it but he could do with some of Jenson's COOLNESS under pressure. If you can't see he's been driving like a dick it's because you just don't want to. Quality driver who's has a suspect temperament when he doesn't have the best car. He should take a look at Alonso to see how a genuine world class driver handles not having the best car, how often does he stuff it into walls or get clipped???

His car was also very competitive at Monaco but he overdrove again.

Nothing sadder than fans who can't see that their heroes are not perfect, fine from children but so sad from adults.

Trying too hard is quite different from being a DICK. .

I never said he was a Dick, I said he'd been driving like one. The guy is paid millions, the least I would expect is for him to be professional in his approach. Driving flat out with a devil may care attitude isn't good enough for a driver with his talents imo. I love watching Hamilton racing when he is using his head, he has patently lost it more often than not this season. I only put forward Alonso as a driver who puts everything into his driving without being foolhardy. A trundler or a driver with the right attitude? Kovalainen is now often outqualifying and out finishing Hamilton who has all the backing of the improvements, that should tell you something about Lewis's season.

I'm wasting my time here, aren't I? The truth is that Hamilton is having lots of bad luck and everyone else is out to get the best driver in the world driving the worst Formula 1 car EVER obviously :p

How many races has Hamilton had with the new aero package?

ONE

So you can't really use that as an example.

Didn't he also get a diffuser before Kovalanein, that also counts as an improvement imo? What are the qualifying stats? 5 to Hamilton and 4 to Kovalainen?

Hoping for a Button win to extend his lead in the championship, would like to see Hamilton up there too. Vettel breaking down or dumping it in the kitty-litter would also be good.
Won't see the race though as I'm off to the MotoGP at Donington ...:drink:

Hamilton and Kovalainen dominate pre-practice. Fingers crossed that they can throw a cat amongst the pigeons and qualify high up and score an unlikely 1-2 on Sunday..
