We're all as bad and as good as each other, American does had the biggest gap between the highest intelligent people and the lowest - I've always wondered if it was to do with the size of the population? The more people, the more exagerated the gap...
I lived in NY for 3.5 years - and there were a few downright dangerously stupid people, but there are also some seriously intelligent types...
I lived in London for a while, and again some pretty daft people but also some super intelligent types...
All generalisations though, pretty much as per every other post on this thread...
