It was absolutely SUPERB tonight, one of the best yet. The bit with David Bowie in the bar had me rolling around.
QUALITY comedy, brilliantly written.

Horsham Town
very good I missed last weeks so I watched them one after the other and a thoroughly well spent hour I must say.

I found it a bit cringeworthy this week. The bit where he got Maggie to pretend to want his autograph really had me cringing like a lot of scenes in the office.

Lovely ending, where he goes back to the comfort of the saddo's in the pub who adore him, after his HUMILIATION by Bowie.
As Bozza says, very dark, but just superby written. It really is a cut above.

I thought that was possibly the best episode yet.

Pure genius.

I love the way Merchant always refers to Shaun as Barry.

Long may it continue

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I found it to be really rather unfunny. As the 8 thus far episodes have passed, less of a second seems personal and therefore i struggle to see trouble hold mirth. Each week, a bigger star says something more threatening or demoralising than the previous one. And within this, we're supposed to follow and take caring notice of the 'character's happenings. I failed to have that concern and therefore lulled in the strain of smirk.
A disapointment for me personally.
