So sending a multi-platinum selling, Brit Award-winning and multi Grammy-nominated songwriter/performer not enough?

Despite having the UK in the sweep-stake, I honestly had no idea who our guy was - never heard of him before.

Missed the whole thing as we were in London at Les Mis.....do I get a prize for coming last?

Enjoyed watching it last night, for that last few years we meet up with another couple and get a takeaway + a few drinks.

The whole thing is daft, the voting is mental and the songs are shit! That's part of the fun, you just have to embrace it.

We liked Lithuania, Iceland, Ukraine and Greece. Thought the Italian song was meh.

This is one of the two ways of dealing with Eurovision, embrace the cheese and stupidity and eat and drink heartily or don't bother with it at all.

Though the Swiss were going to win for a minute . I hated the Italian song , tuneless shouting by a singer who was dressed like a transvestite. Very odd choice .

This is Eurovision. That's not an odd choice at all. The UK entry on the other hand ...
