So who are being kept in, us or them? It was good to get away first last year, while the Palace fans were held back.

It makes more sense to lock the home fans in, I don't know why they don't do this at all high risk fixtures. A couple of thousand away fans can not only get away a lot quicker than tens of thousands of home fans, but they have further to go and so get a long way away from the ground, rather than hanging around in the pubs nearby causing problems.

Plus, it would mean the Amex was full on 90 minutes. Either that or people would start leaving at 70 minutes.

Wonder how much this will be affected by the Millwall-Charlton game.

I imagine we'll be let out and kettled somewhere and then moved on to Norwood Junction like last time.

And then left on the platform with 3 other Brighton fans who are trying to go north instead of South while thousands of Palace arrive. Quite funny shouting abuse at the Brighton fans on the platform opposite, the f***ing benders.

Making me wonder whether I can actually be arsed with all the nonsence, willy waving and bravado that goes with this fixture. Being kettled and held up waiting for the station whilst faux-Danny Dyer wannabes gesticulate from behind the comfort of a police line really is not the best way to spend a Saturday is it.

No. But if, God forbid, we win, then it absolutely will be the best way to spend a Saturday. The problem is, we probably wont. Is it worth the risk of missing it on the probability that we wont? No.

I know exactly what you mean.

My head says do not bother - £34 ticket, transport hassle, been offered work that day anyway, Selhurst is SHIT, prob lose, Murray will score, Zaha will dive.

Me heart says- You would be mad to miss it, what if we win 5-0. You will regret missing it forever.

That's why I'm not going Matthew.
