3rd place B (Croatia) and F (Czechia/Georgia) can't both go through.
Neither can Croatia and C (Slovenia/Serbia/Denmark).
So if we finish first, there are now 6 possible combinations of 3rd placed teams left to determine our opponent.
If the four 3rd placed teams come from groups ACDE or ACDF, we play 3rd place of D.
If they come from groups ABDE or CDEF, we play 3rd place of E.
If they come from groups ACEF or ADEF, we play 3rd place of F.
I've probably got this wrong so feel free to correct
Edit: and Türkiye could also finish 3rd but that doesn't change the above 6 combos as things stand.
My brain is fried.

Very similar in their approach to Denmark. Very high press. I agree, we'd struggle on current form.

The UEFA mobile app has started allocating the teams into their respective R16 ties. It has the Winner of C (England's group) playing 3rd in D/E/F. Oddly, it has Spain playing 3rd in A/D/E/F. No idea why they have the additional space for 3rd in A.Ok:

I agree with that. But then could be the Dutch, they look pretty solid too. Frankly we just have to sort our own poop out regardless of who we face don't we!
