Seriously thought, this is one of the best tv programs on at the moment. Good old BBC.

Agreed

The three programs that are "must see" for me at the moment are
(In no particular order)

Lost
Dragons Den
The Apprentice (Donald Trump version at the moment - on late but that's what Sky Plus is for).

The battery charged Golf Trolley market is huge, especially among the older generation of golfer trust me, my father in law has one and i think its a good idea for sure.
Golf has a massive market which is ever growing.
Evertime i go round his place the battery is sitting on the side somewhere getting charged so leaving it in the back of the motor has to be a good thing.

So do they buy their own cart and store it at the clubhouse then?

yer but they all rich wankers

Yeah, but my point is that the Aussie guy makes it interesting because he invests more regularly rather than just no, no, no all the time and when he does turn things down he is honest and gives a good explanation rather than Banatine's "It's rubbish, you're wasting my time" arrogant bullshit.

I can't understand why anyone would want Bannatyne investing in their business?

He usually pushes for 50% of of the business and I'd guess that he's a hard bloke to work with!

I love the program but as for Deborah Meaden - A bulldog licking piss off a stinging nettle springs to mind.

I reckon she'd only be too happy to invest in a company selling specialist vibrators. (you know the industrial strength ones that come with their own UPS)

Richard is by far the richest of the dragons and the happiest to take a bit of a punt

Love the show (watch it again on BBC.co.uk...!) but I think they should change the predictable format as it would make it more fun guessing whether they are going to invest or not

Not on your life!
So were they refering to electric golf TROLLEYs then because I'm sure the guy was saying CARTs. Thats why I was wondering why people took the batteries home as surely they hire the carts.

not sure of the figure but he's apparently had 50 successful businesses and on his BBC profile video thing he talks about getting the world's biggest ever personal take of some sort from a deal so I'm guessing its quite a lot...

Not much really. Hits (page impressions) aren't really that important - the key is the number of unique visitors.

I agree with you there. Peter Jones is particularly nausiating.

My main gripe with the programme is that it's format is stacked against the little fella. Take last night - the Scottish dragon retracted his offer to the poker because pokerman hadn't asked him about HIS own brewery empire. That's not quite how it would play out in the real world if you had four indpendent dragons each competing to invest.

I know. It was really funny. He was like a spoilt child when he withdrew his offer. "You didn't ask about me so I'm out. Huff".
The thing was that the woman promoted herself to him to swing it her way and just because Banatine could see he was going to lose out he backed down to try to save face and made himself look a bigger tosser in the process:lolol:

Peter Jones:tosser:

If I was pitching my idea to him I'd probably end up chining him. Always Patronising and always says the same thing 'There's nothing stopping me copying your idea and doing it better' I haven't seen him invest in anything this series.

I really would love it if he went bankrupt.
