I love the program but as for Deborah Meaden - A bulldog licking piss off a stinging nettle springs to mind.

Golf has a massive market which is ever growing.
Evertime i go round his place the battery is sitting on the side somewhere getting charged so leaving it in the back of the motor has to be a good thing.

Rangdo said:So do they buy their own cart and store it at the clubhouse then?
Marshy said:I think they paid for the websites the poker guy had and there potential rather than the initial concept he came with.

Yes they have there own trolleys, which they take home and bring back after each game.

Love the show (watch it again on BBC.co.uk...!) but I think they should change the predictable format as it would make it more fun guessing whether they are going to invest or not

not sure of the figure but he's apparently had 50 successful businesses and on his BBC profile video thing he talks about getting the world's biggest ever personal take of some sort from a deal so I'm guessing its quite a lot...Tricky Dicky said:Is he ? Peter Jones is worth well over £300M so what's his value then ?

I agree with you there. Peter Jones is particularly nausiating.Rangdo said:Yeah, but my point is that the Aussie guy makes it interesting because he invests more regularly rather than just no, no, no all the time and when he does turn things down he is honest and gives a good explanation rather than Banatine's "It's rubbish, you're wasting my time" arrogant bullshit.

My main gripe with the programme is that it's format is stacked against the little fella. Take last night - the Scottish dragon retracted his offer to the poker because pokerman hadn't asked him about HIS own brewery empire. That's not quite how it would play out in the real world if you had four indpendent dragons each competing to invest.
