Why are we buying so many Stockport players could it be in case RS fails and we go back for Jim Gannon? or RS director of football instead of Hinshlewood and Gannon team manager.

There someone on the Stockport forum that Tunicliffe didn't get on with Gannon; so they were in fact viewing it as a sign that he is more likely to return there!

Club Statement

Albion are poised to sign Stockport County duo Gary Dicker and 20-year-old central defender James Tunnicliffe.

Having been granted permission to speak to both players earlier today by County's administrators, the club has agreed personal terms with both players.

The pair will undergo medicals tomorrow, before completing the necessary paperwork.
