I get that but just because we seem to have an ethical chairman, doesn't mean others do. That is the whole crux of my point.

Yes, I agree there is the potential for problems, but you have said we cannot take the moral high ground when other owners use financial doping etc. I think we still can because we don't exploit the situation to benefit just Brighton, or even benefit Brighton much more than USG, it is mutually beneficial, but both USG and Brighton are well down the table of big spenders in their leagues, and not bending any rules on FFP or sustainability, as far as I am aware.

Convenient ignoring of other loan!?

Tau failed to get them promoted but scored a few goals which leaves Mitoma, who whilst he’s been decent for them this season has hardly been their key player. Expecting USG fans to feel indebted to the Albion for the players we’ve loaned them would be like West Brom taking credit for how we’re doing now because we loaned Pocognoli from them when we got promoted.

But then again it’s the kind of weird superiority complex we’ve came to expect from the forums punchline.

Undav shocking in first half against Anderlecht. Reminds me of Connollys performance yesterday. Bit like a worse version of mitrovic, too slow for the epl.

Like the fact that he's an absolute thug.

You can’t take the moral high ground on this. Either you believe people should be able to own more than one club and move players between them or you don’t.

And you are ignoring the fact Tony has invested beyond our loans to them. You are pretending there is a problem where there is in fact the opposite

You said “Grateful for all the talent we have loaned them” which I what I replied to. I’m not ignoring what Bloom has done for them, you were talking specifically about the players we’ve loaned them and I pointed out it’s more miss than hit currently.

Started by deliberately ignoring the key loans, then downplayed those too. Yes, you have been really balanced! ;-)

With Tony owning another club there is always going to be a symbiotic relationship between them.

I'd rather USG sold Undav to us than to Brentford !

A fabulous arrangement that allows us to develop some players and gain them points for a work permit. USG also benefit from having better players in their squad, my only suprise is we haven't sent them 3/4 players each season.

I hope both clubs continue to grow in their levels of success and ability

If Undav is considered to be at the same level or potential as Nunez/Gonzalez then it is worth pursuing.
I doubt anywhere near Nunez’s level he’s now a £50m player and being fawned over by the top clubs in the world. This fella’s a £6m punt not that’s a bad thing if it works out.

Webster & Veltman cost very different transfer figures and are both very capable CB's. Undav could well be of similar potential, if not it seems odd that we would take him away from USG to sit on our bench when he could stay there and help them with their CL football

undav would have to be there of thereabouts on tony's spreadsheets for us to even consider signing him
