Look, there is no way we will mobilise enough people by saturday to have any impact at all, plus well all just get nicked because we wont have permission to protest and the whole thing will be over very quickly.

We need any sort of march to be well co-ordinated to make any impact, and this will need some sort of help from the club, and hopefully the Argus too. Other wise we will simple not get the numbers!

Completly agree. It would be better to wait a week and get the numbers rather than hurrying into something that just looks shit.

A pitch invasion is the last thing we need. Don't we still have a suspended points deduction hanging over us (could be wrong there). There are loads more inventive ideas which will get media coverage.

What about getting 25,000 people to converge on Brighton Station, to show what a ridiculous idea it would be to site the ground anywhere near there.

Could aim to get the game at wycombe postponed or, much more likely, delayed due to crowd congestion.....

Everyone gets to the gates and stands around singing and protesting, etc. means everyone who wasnt going to the game can still go and join in the protests. Also, we get Jeff Stelling telling the Sky Sports nation that "the game at Wycombe has been delayed due to crowd congestion as the Brighton faithful stage a protest in support of their new ground".

Would be pretty easy to arrange as well, given we've already got a coupa thousand going.

That could work...

If the march is just arranged not to get to the ground until 5 to 3 or something. The Wycombe fans could easily be involved in that.

I cant see the Wycombe fans being to happy if we try and stop them going into their own ground? Or the police!

I meant at the away end - just 3/4/5/6000 Brighton fans all there, not going into the ground.

If the police and club dont know about it then they'll delay kick off to try and get everyone in...

Just think of the radio 5 commentator ruefully observing the empty away end.

I reckon that's a top idea...

Agreed. Getting the game delayed is a good start but causing major disruption similar to the york game will only be needed if Prescott himself says no .

2000 odd albion outside the ground at 3 o'clock would get a lot of publicity if its accompanied with an empty away end. Needs nearly everyone to do it though.

Protesting is one thing the albion support excell at.

We need to do something, it needs to be big and fast.

I would suggest a massive sit-in in the centre circle at Wycombe on Saturday, completely non-violent and with the aim of getting the match abandoned,

No, no, no, no, no. :nono: :nono:
Even with the best of intentions, that would play straight into the hands of the nay-sayers.

EVERYONE boycot the next Saturday home game and turn up at Village Way North. Chant non-stop from 3-3.45. Have a half time kick around. At 4 the chanting continues. If we get more than Withdean can hold it should make the need for Falmer crystal clear.

Can we get Jordan to rip off her thong to reveal a blue and white striped bush in support of the Albion?

Too right, all this hippy non confrontational shit won't mean anything.
We have to make an impact and if it means illegal stuff then so be it, we didn't beat Archer and Bellotti by holding hands and singing songs but by getting games abandoned and violent actions.
All this hippy luvvy shit is ok but it won't mean a wank, we either fight the ****s properly or don't bother

Oh yeh - that'll push Prescott to come down in favour of Falmer won't it !!!!!

Talk of invading the pitch at wycombe is NOT a good idea, the press would just jump on the "Football Holligan" bandwagon and it'll do us more harm than good. Attending Wycombe in our thousands IS a good idea, the camera's will be there and itll show our great support.
Still think a demo in Brighton is the best idea though

i think the protest outside wycombe is a cracking idea.

every agree to stay outside unitl say, 3.15 so the away end is COMPLETELY empty.

would be on tv, radio, everywhere...

Could people meet down in the town centre for something tomorrow night? Or be there sometime tomorrow to give flyers on what we are doing to people.

come on people.

this needs to be organised TODAY so we can spread the word.

what are we going to do and where.

my vote is for a protest OUTSIDE the away end on satdi so the away end is empty till 3.15.

it will cause mass comfusion and will certainly be mentioned by people on sky sports, radio 5, etc..

national coverage, that is what we need.

all those agreed say ay (or a different suggestion)

GET MOVING PEOPLE!!!!
