All succesful teams need 3 first class strikers to cover for injury suspensions and loss of form so this will be a good signing to strengthen the squad. Much as Andrew did really well today, in fact he was brilliant, he is only on loan and Palace can call him back at any time after 28 days if they wish.

I said on another thread my brother has watched him at Oldham and rates him as a regular handful in the "anything can happen" mould. It's just the attitude stuff that is an issue but hey, we now have 2 internationals (Birchall for Trinidad and Davies for Wales) and if we can sign Kilkenny (Australia) it could be 3.

The hint from Adams was that we will sign at least one and possibly 2 more so perhaps Richards is still in the frame?

Fit and on form we would have quite a squad and maybbe the chance to give Hinsh and Elphick the occassional rest from the front line.

Can't help wondering if we will switch to 4-3-3 to accomodate our new found wealth of talent
