Dave Edmunds had a number 1 with I hear you knocking. Off the top of my head - Sabre Dance, Baby I love you, I knew the Bride, Girls talk, I love the sound of breaking glass, Queen of Hearts did ok?

Breaking Glass was a hit for Lowe wasn't it, rather than for Dave Edmunds.

yep that was a list of their hits off top of my head, not particular to Dave Edmunds. & yep - 'Bowi' (an e.p - I still have it) was his witty riposte to Low

Just come back from watching Nick Lowe at TW Assembly Hall and jolly good he was too. Good to go to a gig where most of the band are older than you, reckon the total age of musical experience on stage was well into three figures. Anyone else go?
