Darcy Blake isnt a bad defender, can play anywhere along the back line, does get a nosebleed though when he goes over the halfway line. Actually not a bad buy for the Scum/Nigels/Caravan loving people (Choose your own words here)

To be fair that's a pretty good signing for Palace. He was never really given a chance with us and when he did play he was pretty solid. He had a good run in the team in the back end of two years ago when we lost in (our annual) play-off disappointment. The key for him will be whether he's given regular first team football or not, if he is he could be a top player for them. On the other hand if he isn't, his attitude for a professional footballer isn't the best and that was part of the reason he didn't get more of a look in with us.

was just gonna mention this game, i liked darcy, always gave his all for Cardiff but had only got one year left on his contract, was offered another one but wanted 1st team football which he cant get at Cardiff, give him a run of games and he will be quality.
