Can't believe 1066 is ahead of me, what are the chances of both of us picking that 1,2,3?

Six people on zero! Only my girlfriend actually picked a team out of them though :moo:

No, I can't believe that you both got 1st to 3rd. Chapeau!

Appollonio? Who'd've thought. And I didn't rate Bouhanni's chances - don't think he's gonna be 'great'. As for Kittel!

I got 4th and 5th, and was sadly let down by Degenkolp - 133rd! Still, he got me 5 points en route.

I always get it wrong.

Sometime I like to stick with my favourite pool of riders.
Or, I'll throw in a whole load of new random riders.

The old favourites did quite well, alas I decided it was a new random rider day

I don't know what's happened to mine, I picked a team yesterday & thought I was in time, but 0 points. Gutted.

I feel your pain. I cycled 68 miles in the sleet and snow on Saturday, and Strava discarded my ride. I'm still depressed about it - it feels like I didn't do it. Completely gutted.

That new avatar is magnificent. When did you have it taken?
Luckily I had it taken as I was leaving the health spa.

Sadly it wasn't money well spent, and I'm back to my old self

I know how you feel though. Couldn't bring myself to record anything after my puncture ruined ride.

My tactic of going large on 4 with 5 rock-bottomers has failed even more miserably than before.

Replace Domenico Pozzovivo with Taylor Phinney
Replace Brent Bookwalter with Marcel Kittel

Oh dear, horse stable door.

Have you not seen the little bump in the road near to the finish line tomorrow? This is Marcel Kittel we're talking about here

Just thought I'd throw that one in there as food for thought. I reserve the right to change him out or not, as the case may be.

More a case of bringing in the Jersey than having any faith in him

I've been a specialist at that this year.

I had the same thought about kittel. I'm interested what made you and Pantani go for appollonio? Looking at his price, he does seem excellent value but I hadn't really considered him.

You answered your own question there I think - excellent value at that price for this race on current form.

It's still all a bit of a lottery though isn't it - some days you get lucky, some days you don't. Luck can all turn on it's head tomorrow just as easily.

Team Tom Hark Preston Park Velodrome has high hopes for Le Tour D'Oman, already shot up to 14th equal - mainly cos there's a few been caught napping and not entered teams - hoorah!

Also where are the stage profiles. Not seen them anywhere, even on the official website (run by our dear friend Jamie going by the looks of it).

EDIT: Found it on the letour website. Maybe Kittel was a mistake for today/tomorrow.
