HOpe not, that woudl mean we had thrown away a few wickets and starting to get a little nervous. 110 for 0 would suit me fine.

England almost halfway there, all gone quiet on the Sussex front? Come on boys ???

Lunch

Middlesex 392 & 236/7 (89 ov)
Sussex 537

Middlesex lead by 91 runs with 3 wickets remaining

We're still on target.

I think there's another 58 overs left to play.

Middlesex are scoring today at not much more than 2 runs an over.

Worst case scenario is that they keep batting until they've reached 120 overs, meaning that they'll have scored about 300 - leaving us with 155 to score in 27 overs. A bit tight, but achievable.

Much more likely is that they'll be all out for no more than 280 by 110 overs - leaving us with a much easier target of 135 in 37 overs (3.7 runs an over).

Isn't the new ball due shortly? That might hasten the end - certainly hope so.
