Seems to be a fact of life at the moment that we score more and play better when CMS or Nooney aren't on the pitch. Yes, we love them both but in the end we love winning even more.

Evening Gents, now were nearing the end of the season, whats your impression of CMS overall this season, 8 goals is it now? Do you still think he was worth the amount you paid for him? And say you go up this season would he still be at the Amex? Just wondering as from a Posh fans point of view, from him being a hero at the start of the season, it seems that he has slipped down a few notches.

9 league goals, 1 cup goal, 6 assists.

Goals dried up when Dicker got injured and when we went from playing 2 upfront to CMS as lone striker.

The only tarnish on this season could be CMS' perceived unhappiness at Brighton. Really really REALLY want him to smash in the goals in our playoff run and push us up.

Missed his chance last night having a waz - so close to a third. Then again, woulda been gutted to have missed it.

There are ladies on here aswell. Don't discriminate, Keys and Gray style.

CMS is a victim of the team game we play. No striker would really flourish in our system, we just aren't set up like that. It's difficult to understand, and to explain. We're the sort of team which doesn't rely on one or two players to make the difference. Everyone plays their part and everyone is important in getting the results. At the moment, Vicente is our creator in chief and if CMS plays then he will get more chances than he's been getting from Noone, LuaLua and Buckley because Vicente is a lot more direct and his final ball is vastly superior. What's frustrating is that, Blackpool aside, Vicente and CMS haven't had much time together on the pitch. Speaking about the season more generally, we haven't played to his strengths. We haven't tried to, either. And that's a real shame. We've heard Gus talk about CMS having to adapt, and CMS himself has said it, but the truth is we should have adapted to play to his strengths aswell. It doesn't mean pumping the ball long, it just means getting the ball to the wider areas and then into the area quicker. When we've stepped up the pace a bit, it's usually had a result. Dicker running with the ball against Blackpool created space for Noone on the left, who had the time to measure the cross into the box for CMS to knock in. Simple, but that's all he wants. His goal against Palace was a whipped in corner to the near post, CMS gets across his man and sticks it away. His first against Leeds at the Amex was a ball into his feet in the box, he turned amazingly and fired into the far corner. His second against Leeds was a pull back into the 6 yard box and there he is to tap it home. Against Ipswich a couple of weeks ago, Greer plays Buckley in behind down the right, the ball is whipped in and CMS tucks it away. So many examples of what CMS wants, and when we provide it, he scores. We just don't provide for him enough so he's feeding off scraps and when he's had to fight away on his own all match and a chance has finally come along, he has missed a few sitters. But on the whole, feed him and he scores. Starve him, and he doesn't. Simple, but we haven't worked out how to get 20/30 goals a season from him yet.

What do you think of Tyrone Barnett?

I don't think we ever played two out and out strikers. Barnes has been playing off the front man or wide all season.

Was upfront V Doncaster and Leeds at least.
Leeds was the only game I could think of where we did play a straight up 4-4-2... not sure about Doncaster. Definitely remember him out on the left wing in the sunshine! The system hasn't changed a lot this season, just the personnel at times.

Team game mate. Our goals come from all players all over the pitch, we don't have individual heroes, except Vicente :)
