And if not, not. The 'beating bad teams' piece of the equation is not (yet) in place.

I found the comment about loan players team cohesion above very interesting. Given that W/L/D data and transfer data are both readily available on line, it should be possible to get an empirical handle on whether there's a 'too many loans spoil the soup' point.

Of course, you're not actively seeking players on loan unless you've got perceived weaknesses...

I sense from Norman Galls comments that he feels there is something fundermentally wrong with the team. He doesn't feel they are playing as a team at all.
