i would rather painter and dicker play today if it means we get rid of them, more than if we kept them and they let us down next season.

these games are like pre-season really - gus knows that......but no-one can tell the paying fans.

You would have be be daft to think that's not happening,why would you play dicker and painter at such an important part of the season,gus was hoping they would be good i guess?Most of us are sure he's just experimenting for a good clear-out.

Both are potentially capable of making it at this level. Painter has done so before. They have both been racked with injuries. Perhaps Gus felt some fresh faces might galvanise the team?

Difficult to state what he is feeling/doing either way.
