Haven't read any of the posts, but I would have to say:

Schindler's List
Downfall

Both truly amazing films:bowdown:

For relentless nonsensical action, scores of Germans who can't shoot straight being dispatched at regular intervals and a plot twists a-plenty Where Eagles Dare takes some beating.

Burton. Eastwood. Broadsword calling Danny Boy. Great stuff!

Where Eagles Dare is probably the best film ever.

I also love Kelly Heroes, Longest Day, Paths Of Glory and Ran

I don't think anyone's mentioned Days of Glory, about the Algerians who fought with the French, which is brilliant and Too Late The Hero with Michael Caine which is boss

Star Wars is not a War film.

It's more of a war film than Schindlers List. For one, it's got WAR in the title. ANd it's about a war

Can't argue with that riposte!

I have seen Days of Glory, Too Late the Hero and The Longest Day and can confirm that they too merit inclusion.

Schindler's List was based in the second world war. Star Wars is fictious.

Ok, I'll nominate Battlefield Earth.

Do you actually think Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood stormed the Schloss Adler to figure out who the double agents were?
And you're intelligent to know that most of Schindler's List is made up

Most of Schindler's List was not made up. People are just on here to get a rise and talk bollocks just to get a reaction and I'm not in the f***ing mood to say Star Wars is a War Film. If you think that fine I can't be arsed to argue with you.
