Not the Paul I was thinking about. Although I know a Paul W at the bus company. Mine is a Paul C at the City Council.

Do you beaconsfield roaders get off at that stop after home games I'll be looking out for you.

Occasionally.

My routine is usually one of three things.

1. Go to the Preston Resort for a couple of beers. Then walk home up towards Surrenden Road, Preston Drove and down Cleveland Road, where there is another fine hostelry (which serves Harvey's) to delay my arrival home.

2. Get on the bus after the game (5 or 5A) and getting off at said stop in Beaconsfield Road - occasionally stopping at the chippy there - and walking up Stanford Avenue.

3. Get on the bus after the game (5 or 5A) and getting off at either Preston Circus in order to go to the Rose Hill Tavern, or getting off at the Co-op in order to go to the Park Crescent.

Do you notice a link here? Beers and buses - again with the exception of the Preston Resort, not one bus stop within easy walking distance (i.e 5 yards) of a bar.
