Apologies for failing to mention we have former Albion players in our side - McNulty and Davies. Although the former is currently injured, the latter is fit, and firing. 2 goals in 3 starts so far. Although tbh, he goes from looking a world beater one game, to a bag o shite the next. Has an awful first touch, bless him.
He'll have Harewood up there to do that for him.

No idea how many we're fetching down, but due to the obscene pricing, I doubt it'll be many more than 500. We're not Sheff Wednesday......

As for the game, I'd be amazed if our patched up side gets even a point. If you want to make some money, lump on your boys to score more than 2.

Enjoy the game, and thanks to those who enjoyed my blog.

Cheers, was a very good read. Didn't realise you had so many injuries already. Great result first game of the season though! Be nice for us to notch the first goal of the season on Saturday, would be delighted with a 1-0 win.

Thanks again and all the best

Apologies for the mistake with the Greer image. I blame google.

Apologies for missing out your only 'major' trophy, the FA Charity Shield of 1910, where you beat the League Champions Aston Villa, despite being members of the Southern League. See, I did research it, but I'm sorry I just didn't agree that it was a major trophy...

HaHa. I like it. And I thought we were bad for clinging onto our only major trophy, the FA Cup of 1912.

Hi Andy, I really enjoyed your article. Disregard any negative comments from the pond life of Sussex who never taken their blue and white tinted glasses off. They are idiots who never went to school and probably cannot read and write. It is quite an extensive article. How do you find the time! Shift worker on a day off?

Be careful as WE ARE ALL GAY. Even the men with a couple of children and their wives with them, even the ones with girlfriends with them ( who are they kidding ?, no one ) no, the truth is every single bloke in the Amex Stadium tomorrow will be gay so be warned. I hope you all have a great day.

Excellent review - top tip, get to the stadium early and you can watch the T20 finals on tv in the concourse while getting quietly plastered and stay behind for a beer or two afterwards and do same - that way you'll have no problems with the public transport or traffic but you might get back to Yorkshire a bit late, pissed and having witnessed two defeats!

I am not sure how you can describe £28 as obscene, when it's in a state of the art stadium with excellent catering that will include local beer to you. You will also have a padded seat and as there are not many of you coming, I suspect you will be able to shift your bums around to the £34 seats on the East Stand.

Also please note, that although that £28 is £2 less than we paid you your magnificent stadium last term, it also includes travel to and from the stadium. This travel can be from the town centre or surrounding towns via bus or train. It also entitles free use of the 3 park and ride facilities. If you are travelling from London by train, you only need to buy a ticket to Haywards Heath and not Brighton as this is where the travel zone begins.

It may be our club at fault not communicating this to Barnsley, but you will enjoy your experience at the Amex and will find it good value.

It should also be pointed out that kids tickets start at £7 in the away ends which is less than half I paid at Barnsley last year, and again these tickets also include travel.

You have missed off any reference to the the Dagger, if Vicente plays he will run the game definitely our best player. It could be a drunken affair Saturday as the club are also covering the cricket from 11am, if Sussex do well there could be a lot of ale supped.
On the game if we can actually find the goal once, I fear for you it could open the floodgates but we are struggling to finding that first goal so as much chance of a 0-0, good blog have fun but not too much.

Well done Andy - good stuff

However, put on your tinhat now you have stated that our Champions of England trophy was not a 'major'.

Pleased to note that you are not "Sheffield Wednesday" - this is surely a plus for you.

As for the comment about tickets being obscene at £28 we must remember that this will buy your a street in Barnsley.

The Socialist Republic of Barnsley will doubtless moan about lack of money. Wait for it.

I really enjoyed the article and it's always pleasing when opposition fans come on here in good nature. However, some of the so called "humerous" responses on here by some people just comes across as completely arrogant and make us look like idiots.

I thought you said you did research!!

TWO GOALS! IN ONE GAME!!

Are you mad man? We've only scored three in our last nine!!!!

We'd settle for two goals a month at the moment!!
