Luton at home.

Shrewsbury are on FIRE, and Colchester a tougher proposition than Luton, too.

Basically we need to beat Swindon, then 2 of Luton, Shrewsbury and Colchester, to win a place at WEMBERLEY.

Gosh its exciting, isn't it?

I presume that the draw will be on Soccer AM this Saturday?

So, when we line up against Swindon, we will have the ROAD to WEMBERLEY all mapped out.

How can a day out in Londinium, having a few beverages with your CHUMS, before watching the Albion soccer mighty Rotherham off the WEMBERLEY pitch, be considered 'embarrassing'.

You silly boy.

Just have fun and enjoy the ride.

Being tinpot now, doesn't confirm a club's tinpot staus forever.

Plenty of current Premier league teams have played in the latter stages of the JPT [or previous incarnations].

Thing is, how "enjoyable" would it be? Wembley would be half empty, the football would be shit, and it would be a game where (despite being a final) noone would REALLY care if we won or not. Yes, I know it's WEMBLEY, but having been there 5 or 6 times when it's packed and ROCKING I would hate to see us play there with 1/10th of the atmosphere. England v Croatia with 89,000 inside was my last visit, Brighton v Rotherham with 40,000 in the JPT sounds frankly horrific. I'd rather wait a few more years and then soccer a play-off final.

The gate would be significantly higher than that. And its the lack of real importance in a perverse way that makes the JPT a laugh - because it doesn't MATTER all that much, you can relax a bit and enjoy it.

Shrewsbury away.

Nice and near - would be able to jump on the choo-choo train after work to go to the new gay meadow.
