At first I was a bit shocked, before I realised it was clearly a joke.

First of all, the football fans all being secretly secret and racist was designed to lure us into a rage. Then he goes on to say that football shirts should be banned in Brighton in order to preserve freedom of expression (clearly an contradiction).

I think this person (Quentin, really?!), has lobbed a grenade into our fish farm and is hoping for a bumper catch.

So he doesn't believe a city should have a football team, and he would like to ban freedom of expression? Fascist c**t.

I thought it was pretty funny. It's obviously not a serious column, and is in fact a nicely written spoof. Jocasta, Lex and Nimsie? You can only make this stuff up, hilarious!
