My house is like a fecking 'Chinese Laundry' ---just so my Missus can dry her 'washing'. I am surprised the computer is still working as the current temperature in my office is 90 degs with a humidity similar to the 'Amazon'!

Ours went on at the end of September , another drawback of living up north.

If you are a single man the answer is probably no. However, if you live with a woman the heating has probably been on since, about mid-August

We set ours at a certain temperature 19c and leave it. If it drops below that whether it be during January June or November it comes on if not it stays off.

Out thermostat is set at 20c which means the heating comes on if the temperature in the house drops below 18c. However the central heating is switched off during the summer.
