Yep - had it on for little bursts, including warming the house up for when we hop out of bed in the morning.

Our modern boiler - I have to top up the closed CH combi loop, quite often. No known leaks anywhere, and when house taken apart for building works, no leaks found.

Mine is exactly the same, pressure goes after 3 days and needs topping up but no leak has ever been found. And I've gad a new boiler fitted and the new one is exactly the same. Bizzare.

Regarding the main thread ... we've had the heating on in early Sept when got cold a couple of times, then off for that heatwave, and on again this week.
