Albion win an award at the Football League ceremony

Albion today issued a scathing attack on Lewes District Council after they branded the club's work in the community as being 'so small for any meaningful use.'

Lewes also claimed Albion's community work was 'very minor? with only few, and even then limited, benefits accruing to the wider community'.

Lewes made the demeaning comments in their written submissions to Ruth Kelly as part of their objection to the proposed Community Stadium at Falmer.

Just shows the depths the masonic swine at LDC are willing to sink to. How DARE they sneer at the Albion's work in the community which has been rightly recognised at a national level.

These people are beneath contempt and are unfit for office. Their constituents need to tell them the good news in the May elections. Don't get mad, get even.

You know, I'm quite glad LDC made those comments to Ruth Kelly. Deriding a National Award of recognition for work in the community can only go to show what a bunch a narrow minded killjoy twattytwats they really are. Hopefully Ms Kelly will see straight through them. Bit of an own goal there LDC I feel.

It also shows how misinformed they are (or rather how they are trying to misinform) when it comes to the work the Albion do in the community...can only be good for the club as it casts even more doubts over LDC's reasons for objecting to our bid for a new Community Stadium.

Especially when they have absolutely no idea what the nature of the work undertaken is. For f*** sake, one of the Study Support Centres is based at the Dripping Pan - 300 yards from the council offices.

Thinks... The Albion had a meeting with Norman Baker about its work in the community, and all its inherent benefits. A few weeks later LDC publish a report damning those achievements, and dismissing them as minor. One of two things here... either Baker and LDC don't talk to each other, or Baker has gone back to LDC and reported a whole heap of horseshit to them.
