Brighton and Hove Albion have won the "Community Club of the Year" award at tonight's prestigious 2007 Football League Awards ceremony.

The Seagulls saw off strong competition from Colchester, QPR, Millwall, Norwich and West Bromich Albion to land the honour, which was collected by Steve Ford, The Albion's Community Affairs Manager.

Highlights from the annual event, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, will be screened on Sky Sports 1 at 6:30pm this coming Thursday, 8th March.
