Hammond is more of a defensive midfielder, not a playmaker. I think O'callaghan is more of a playmaker and would fit that role perfectly. I think the captain armband should be with Butters, because I don't think Hammond is a Cullip type player.

if you want a cullip type player, you have to narrow it down. he was good at two things - one, leading my example - which last season hammond did, and this season only elphick and o'callaghan are really doing. and two - shouting and getting players up for it - which only o'callaghan seems to do, with el abd a close second, but he is so out of his depth its not even worth considering

o'callaghan is obviously the choice for captain, but as far as i am concerned it CANNOT go to a loan player, and that is the one thing we have missed more than anything since oatway got injured - a leader on the pitch
