I've heard that Adam has had a falling out with McGhee and would have gone out on loan already if Dodd was fit. Elphick is ahead of Adam as it stands at the moment.

I don't think McGhee wants to get rid of Adam but get him out on loan and teach him a lesson so he sorts himself out as he still rates him as a decent prospect.
