If its that easy. Then why are pilots payed so much. Might as well get the jobless a few flying lessons and they can fly with Ryan Air I think the attack on the pentagon was a bit of class flying to be honest.

I am not saying it is easy. However if you have a little bit of knowledge you can do basic manoeuvres. which is what those bastards did. I did point out about navigation and some claim the real target for the Pentagon plane was the Lincoln Memorial or the White House.
Pilots are paid good money to deal with the unexpected and to have far more skills re flying, navigation, engineering etc than those hijackers ever had. You try landing a 747 with 400+ people on board in a strong crosswind and then you would appreciate why a pilot is worth his salary.
