With the chance of infuriating TLO again, please can someone explain to me what Wilkins has done for this club as manager as I just can't see it. This a serious question.

2 , 5 game losing runs already in his tenure we beat 2 conference sides in the fa cup before meekly surrendering against West Ham and beat 2 div 4 sides in the paint pot and a weak Millwall on penalties.

The home form is absolutely woeful under Wilkins in the league and I have seen 1 good perforance at home against Orient and ok against Swansea and every other performance has been awful. We have done better away from home but the facts are

4 POINTS OFF THE RELEGATION ZONE TO DIV 4. REALITY CHECK.

Why are some people seeing him as the great hope, what has he done, absolutely nothing infact the side is much worse now and our league position much worse than when he took over.

It is time to ask some very searching questions about Wilkins and act before its took late as we are in freefall and will be playing div 4 football with 2500 season ticket holders next season.

I have never been a fan and results bear out it was the wrong appointment. We need a man who knows waht he is doing and soon.

We were closer to the relegation zone when McGhee left in terms of points.

And he was doing a good job, as is Wilkins.

4 points but that was a false position as we had won 9 drawn 3 and lost 9 , hardly tearing up trees,

his league record

7 wins
3 draws
10 defeats

No, Gareth, I'm not going to explain.

It's your rant, and today I'm going to let you have it.

:)

or is it because you cannot back it up with facts, just blind inexplainable faith

I think you miss my point.

There are 3 teams on 31 points (inc us), 2 on 34, and 3 on 39. Seeing as we are looking to be midtable we would aim to be on 34 points at this stage, currently 3 points less than we currently have. Bear in mind how tight the league is and I don't think thats much at all.

Look at the bigger picture.

I just cannot understand this illusion and spell Wilkins has put on some of our fans that he is somehow the new Curbishley :lolol: . give him credit for convincing people he has a clue what he is doing, could be a good salesman if/when he gets the sack

And? There's still 20 league games to play, it can all change so quickly. So why start panicking? :lolol:
