Pretty sure the staff lunch bag things are provided by forfars, as they come in Forfars boxes. They are not nice!

Not to support Forfars but they did provide lunch for 1,800 Brighton Marathon volunteers for free. Plus at the zone 5 check in point free pastries and croissants were also given free by Forfars.

Is it possible Pigglet's bought the crates from forfar (cheaper, second hand), and use them to transport pies, since they might not have had to make pies in such quantities before?

232,000 pies with an estimated diameter of 15cm would line up 34,800m.
The pitch has a perimeter of - coincidentally - 348m.

So you could make a wall of pies around the pitch, 100 pies tall.

Just spoken to Jo Philips at Piglet's Pantry.

She's still claiming that she hold supplied over a quarter of a million pies to the Amex this season. She thinks Martin is not including coroporate functions.

Supply 250,000, sell 232,000 leaving 18,000 discrepency. 23 league home matches, 5 cup matches, friendly v tottenham, sussex cup final. Average of 600 unsold per match? I have no idea how likely that is, but could be an explanation? Piglet's giving the number provided, perry giving the number sold?

No. Perry is not including the corporate functions.

These are truely staggering amounts for pie consumption. If its any comfort to you,you lead the way in pies/nuts and nibbles sales in the championship.Well done.

Name dropping is getting rather tiresome in my view.

Anyway back to the real point - I contributed by eating a measly 2

We make 800 pies each game for corporate, they don't technically sell the pies which is why it wasn't included.
