Well worth getting them along then.

Im going to spend tomorrow emailing all the leaguie club's programme editors as I have the day off. Going to send them a small press release of sorts and hopefully that will get some publicity going.

Is anyone good at basic websites? Thought we could do with having a one page site with the details on and links to The Wrexham Supporters Trusts etc and how normal fans can help.

Anyone who can help with this email:

Sorted. Richie's message is now at the top of the Thread.

I merged the two threads because things get very muddled when we have discussions scattered about the board. That's a recipe for people missing half the details.

I'll sticky it later, once it shows signs of slipping off the first page.

cheers Lord B.

:)

Thanks once again Lord B.

This time tomorrow evening I will have emailed someone from each of those clubs.

If people are posting on message boards could they post on here which ones they have done so I know which supporters are being targeted?

Thanks again everyone.

20th November, day before my birthday! :clap2:

This could be a huge day as the talk is that we might make a re-mix of our song "Wrexham is the name" or even a live recording. :drink:

We are also going to target all the local media and try and get as many fans as we can to this game!

Cheers again Brighton.

As for the trust buying the club thing, we know we don't have the money to buy the club outright, thats never been our intention. Sadly we don't have the great fans and massive support that you guys have.

I've posted this on the Palace BBS

Never mind the national event on 20 November. Can people give some thought about how we are going to pull this off at Withdean?

The idea, as I understand it, is "for as many of you as possible to wear red to the game because if only half a dozen people do it will not work"

In my opinion, this will only work if hundreds of people turn up in red.

Using North Stand Chat alone to reach Albion supporters is unlikely to get enough numbers for this protest to be noticeable. Someone is going to have to get the message out more widely.

But ...

This will have to be done by Saturday 6 November, since this is the last home game before the event itself.

How is this going to be achieved?

And how is the message going to get out to the thousands of fans who need to take part nationally for the protest to be successful?

I am fearful that if the numbers don't materialise, Hamilton will claim (again) that no-one cares about the future of Wrexham FC.

Are we in danger of playing into Hamilton's hands?

Is it too late to get something in this weeks match programme?

As most supporters are season ticket holders and attend every gam this would surely get through to almost everyone at Withdean.

Otherwise how about some flyers and a few PA announcements.

I'm at home on a day off today, post anything that I can be getting on with on here and I'll give it a go.

No Jeremiahs please!

The day will certainly "come-off" at the Wrexham end - just look at their last home match to see that once motivated and activated they have a potentially huge fan base, plus people who really care about the future of the Racecourse. So little danger of "playing into Hamilton's hands"

I agree that we also need to make this work in a big way at Falmer in the Burnley match - I am over 350 miles away, so will have to leave it to Richie and all you guys in Sussex to make that end work.

I will post on Sunderland, Watford, Carlisle, Donny Rovers and Darlington sites today with links to Clubs in Crisis, Red Passion and Richie's hotmail address.
