if it's publically funded: no. there should always be a separation between church and state. so yes, i would also oppose the state building a giant temple, church, synagogue, etc.

if it's privately funded: yes. if muslims have got together, stumped up the cash, found a plot of land, and the building is not used as a platform to encourage any racial hatred, i say good luck to 'em.
