Cheers Buzzer, you sound like a well informed person. One more thing I heard from higher echelons a few years back, was Dick Knight installed as Brighton chairman by the FA first and foremost? Or was that one way off radar?
Also how much of this was down to that Ivan whatever MP that allegedly promised that Brighton would get a ground in the town upon the sale of the Goldstone? Is he as liable as the Archer/Belotti/Stanley coalition?
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is expecting Crawley to get "stuck into his team" in the FA Cup fifth round's David v Goliath clash.

So it would also be safe to say that Belotti knew about the progression of the demise of Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club from day one, and the consequences of that was the loss of disaffected fans, me being one of them, a generation of Brighton supporters, the near loss of our league...

I was in a black cab coming home tonight, cabby was telling me he was on the radio tonight to, not sure which, apparently talking about Crawley amongst other things and wishing them luck ... that'll cheer up the NSC whiners
I was at school mid to late 70's when Brighton were a very good 3rd/2nd division club. Just remembering from the East Preston area those of us that went and watched and more importantly, supported! Bones, Ray, Pat, Tony, Jim, Smudge, Jay, Julian, Bob, me and almost certainly a few I missed out...
Strange one really. He was the boil on the backside of this great club, his paymasters were the cancer. History will judge him for what he is, a much derided and hated character that dare not step foot in the city of Brighton and Hove and surrounding areas ever again. He will never be forgiven...
Judging by some of the stereotypical postings and attacking those that wish Crawley well, I don't think these paranoid people need worry about CTFC eating into BHAFC's fanbase, they are doing a bloody good job of alienating all Brighton supporters from the Crawley area anyway.
