Indeed. If we are in fact in for Potter, the club should be talking up the prospect of Southgate's appointment to make the return of Potter more palatable!

Do those who complained we weren't McKenna's first choice have similar reservations about the possibility of Potter settling for a return to Brighton having likely held out for the England or Man Utd gig?
I would certainly put Beadle and Rushworth up there with Undav and Sima, but the former are under consideration for a first-team place next season so didn't support my argument :thumbsup:
