Glad to hear SH is still in the game; I remember him as a solid, dependable defender.
As Barry said "This is my fortieth anniversary season also", I suspect you deduced his error by the programme design change alone.
I think he must have meant this was his 40th season.
Yes, I only ever remember Stewart with a number 2 on his back. Did he return to Scotland after Reading?
If barry Izbak can remember any more details, then I'm sure you and others could help him. eg if the opponents played in orange, then it must surely have been this match.
If you're talking about the white stuff used for burials and construction, then I would argue that it was because British ships were stocked with lime fruit on long voyages to ward off scurvy.
Today is the fortieth anniversary of my very first Albion match. As nobody has sent me a card, I hope no-one minds if I mark the milestone here.

Well, I couldn't get into Kingston Poly in 1976 because I didn't get the requisite two (GCE) A Levels. Are you saying their upgrade to university status has coincided with a lowering of admission standards?
I'm sure many a poster on here would have been delighted to read his thread, posted 24 hours ago at the time of his banning. All it said was "I resign, I've been got at", plus something else (innocuous). There were a few replies, then I went to bed. Did something seriously bad get posted today...
68. Thought Reading were still Premier League! It would have helped if there was an audio sign when a team was entered - with that, could get 72 at 2nd or 3rd attempt, I reckon.
