The stadium Expansion decision thread. Meeting 2pm today.

Probably the corporates above the south stand.

    Bet UEFA aren't!

    Congratulations to Chelsea!

Well, if they want to chew off their nose to spite their face, they'll have a few more tough lessons to learn yet.

    Congratulations to Chelsea!

If anyone can be accused of one dimensional football it is more so the case that Barcelona are just that. As I said before they don't have a plan b. It may be pretty to watch for many but I think most people that like to watch tactical football would soon be screaming at them to sometimes change...

The Embarrassments of Crystal Palace FC

Reminds me of the recent thread on BBS where Brighton fans were booted off for having an input into the 'obsession' of Nigels over the Albion... hmmmmm

The Embarrassments of Crystal Palace FC

They don't have 'JCLs', we do, they have 40,000 sleeping fans waiting to come back and support them, we have 'plastics'.

    Congratulations to Chelsea!

Why? Is it their God given right? Personally I find this karma for the 2009 semi at the Bridge. One Chelsea should have won on chances created and four fair shouts for pens turned down and a late (93rd minute) goal from Barcelona that saw them progress. What goes round comes round, and all that.

    Gary Neville creams his trousers.

I actually played that back a couple of times on the highlights last night because I found it so funny. Love Neville as a pundit... great move getting him in.

    Congratulations to Chelsea!

So you don't go much for differing tactics then I take it? I found it fascinating to watch attack v defence and how the Chelsea ethic won the tie. What I also found interesting was that Chelsea actually had a plan b and c, where as Barcelona only had a plan a. Usually very effective but they...

    Barcelona v Chelsea

Bizarrely I was in Helsinki for last years Champions League final. I say bizarrely because the sports bar I went to in the middle of the city was packed out with Finnish 'reds'. I therefore supported Barcelona on principle!

Best (loudest) and worst away fans this season

We had the loudest fans today in the shape of Birmingham, without a shadow of a doubt. Don't care who were the worst.

Brum fan bigging up our stewards

I thought the Brummy fans were excellent, seriously noisy and have a party to go to (play offs). Anyone that says otherwise either didn't go or have their heads firmly entrenched in their bottoms. Good luck Brums, even though I didn't understand a word of what you were singing.

    Seagulls over Wembley 1983

Fantastic memories, just watched it from start to end, never seen it before, so thanks for the link. Went to a few of those games including the final replay, never managed to get a ticket for the Saturday final. I was only 19 then... time flies, memories don't. What a brilliantly skilful team...
