Indeed. Or they could have treated us with more respect, and paid a few quid to properly train these new staff - rather than shoving them straight onto the tills and hoping for the best. Still don't understand why they don't have 2 people per til, a fetcher and a till person.
do they still show the goals etc after the match - i haven't stayed behind recently? if they showed the match action plus broadcasted a few interviews with the players and gus etc on the screens, that would keep me knocking around for a bit EVERY match, rather than occasionally.
exactly. spending money at the ground is a habit... and loads of people have already gotten out of the habit of using the kiosk and spending money. nobody is vitriolically slagging of anybody and certainly not the catering staff. surely the club would like our feedback on this issue, as well as...
how many have we sold, and how many are wrexham bringing?
should be another top afternoon at the amex. i think kids tickets are £1.80 for under 10s... that's unreal value! would hope to see the family stand packed out at that price
Because the kiosks are getting SLOWER in my experience. Seriously, how long should it take to serve 2 pints? I think perhaps the issue is that Azure use different agency staff every game, who aren't then trained properly, plus they seem understaffed most matches - for example why no mobile...
eh? Most caterers would realise they didn't order enough stock if they completely sold out of their products... especially with thousands of dissapointed customers they couldn't serve.
Agreed.
Have pretty much given up with the kiosks now - and so rather than spending my usual £20 per match i spend £0. The guys serving take AN AGE to work the machine, gather the order, swipe the card/take the cash. Plus the inconsistencies create much frustration - why no mobile Harveys...
Sour grapes. They lost, they were crap. and their away support is very poor.
If i was an away fan i would love visiting the amex. Train to brighton, drink somewhere near the station mixing and chatting to the friendly home fans, football special train up to falmer packed full of fans, proper...
Hello. I know it's been mentioned before... but any chance the club could consider converting one of the ladies bogs in WSU to blokes? I think this happened in the North. It can take over 10 minutes to get in and out of the bogs at half time... leaving no time to spend spend spend at the kiosks...
Azure have had half a season now to get things right. WSU upper kiosks at about 2.25 on Saturday were ridiculously slow, I'm not very patient, and i gave up waiting for a pie and a pint. Mainly because it was taking about 8 mins to serve the guy at the front, who then walked away with... 2...
Surprised that some people are mentioning moving the away end into the corner. One of the things i LOVE about the Amex is the proper home end away end set up. Our north standers behind one goal, away fans down the other end behind the goal, just like proper old footy grounds use to have. having...
How many are you bringing down boss? Hope you don't fill the away end, we tend to lose or draw to teams who fill the away end... well all except forest but they were unlucky.
Scrub that... hope to see the away end full, should be a full house once again at The Amex. Looking forward to it.
Pubs i like at the moment are... The Fountainhead, 3 Jolly Butchers, The Eagle, Three & 10, The Signalman, not really a pub but i also really like the Green Door Store, Lion and Lobster and the ever good Sidewinder.
i think that's a bit OTT - i think the staff are fine, i really don't see the problem. It's not exactly hipster central up there is it, slap bang next to London Road station, in a mainly residential area. Handy for a pre-match pint before the footy, as it takes approximately 9 seconds to travel...
I just mentioned it mate... see above. The Bat and Ball... a pub that's busier at 10.30am than 10.30pm!
The World's End is a strange one... it belongs on several lists. You get some absolute nutters in there, but the food is amazing and recommended in The Observer (Jay Raynor loves it). The...
