Nottseagull's Friday Caption Contest #7

Seagull on the wing your's was the funniest last week, if a little obscene! OK what can you do with this? You probably need to click it to make Mr.President move!

    Nottseagull's Friday Caption Contest #5

A bit late today because my Asus Eee's charger just flashes and won't charge, so I am stuck with going to the library. This week, we have HM meeting Australian basketball player Elizabeth Cambage.

The 7 billionth baby born today will actually be more like the 107 billionth

Have heard quite a bit about the 7,000,000,000th person due today, but of course that will only be the 7bnth living human, so I wondered how many people have actually died; apparently it's about 100,000,000,000 - that's a lot of corpses! There's a diagram and video here: How Many People Have...

    Ignore list

Is it possible to produce a list of those who have made the most 'ignores' Bozza ? That might tell us who are the the most intolerant! You seem rather surprised (and I expect disappointed) not to be on that list.

Please don't tell me the scores but is it worth me sitting up for MOTD2?

Why would he deny it? Anyhow, his spell with us was a comparatively short part of his career. and he's a Preston lad anyway. Best player I've seen for the Albion, but I don't think that much of his punditry. An excellent co-commentator though, doesn't miss a thing.

Looks like there will be a stream today

Really? My Avast is up to date, but it didn't say anything. What version do you have? Can't listen to it though, it's using 4 MB per minute and I only have a few hundred to last me a fortnight

Anyone beat £47.00 to change a front headlight bulb

Sure, I was looking for a thread to illustrate my witty post #49 here http://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/showthread.php?218012-How-many-nsc-members-does-it-take-to-change-a-light-bulb&p=4478369&highlight=#post4478369 . I got interested in the subject and couldn't resist the 'multi-tasking' jibe, but...

Varndean to host BBC Radio 4 Question Time, Fri 4 Nov. 8pm

A pity the Amex couldn't have taken this! A 'fixtures' search reveals that most of the threads containing the name Varndean have been started by the same person. No doubt he will want to be there in order to ask some banal question. Uploaded with ImageShack.us[/IMG]

    virgin media internet- slow

I thought the fibre optic cable meant everybody got a good speed, no matter how far they are from the source :lolol: That was so funny, and a quick search on Google leads only to your post. Can you tell me where you got it from?

    virgin media internet- slow

Locally it was Diamond Cable who installed the fibre optics, but they were soon bought out by Ntl. I always presumed they in turn were bought by Virgin, but it seems the opposite happened.

    Nottseagull's Friday Caption Contest #4

An excellent response to last week's lion/Millwall contest, with plenty of 3s awarded. I'm still struggling with the spreadsheet for the cumulative scores (I haven't done one since 2003!) Does anybody know if you can put two scores in a single cell? You're allowed more than one attempt each...

    Frozen Planet BBC1 is brilliant....

Oh I dunno; Steve Irwin could have made a decent narrator (although he would no doubt have insisted on getting upfront and personal with the polar bears....)

anyone ever modelled for life drawing?

Which AM are you referring to? My 1966 model had no genitals at all, but more modern ones came with a moulded, raised outline of said genitalia.

How many nsc members does it take to change a light bulb?

One to change it, and one to shout "FIXTURES!" O/T How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb? How many N.S.C.ers does it take to change a light bulb?

Wow, great sculpture, but I'm not sure they should have included your smartphone in it......

Is retro chanting the way forward?

To the tune of Yellow Submarine..... "We all live in the Goldstone Ground, the Goldstone Ground, the Goldstone Ground" OK, so I'm getting on a bit!

    Guess the ground - UK

Well how else did you expect me to get that one? I guess Knightsworld didn't know how to slice that bottom bit off :lolol: No such clues for you lot here though, I'm afraid......
