Also, family being settled here may be a part with it.
Another factor is that he would rather be a starter in a big League One club, than backup in a playoff chasing Championship squad.
We aren't overpaying anyone anymore, nothing like what we were a few seasons ago. We had the second highest...
I just linked a piece in the Bristol Post to one of your fellow fans, have a read of that.
It was also on Sky.
I just read through some old threads, see some of your lot rate him, so glad to pick him up.

Read that. It was everywhere a few days ago.
'Brighton were unable to agree terms with the Londoner'
Well, who expected us to get to the play off final in 2008 in our first season back in the Championship?
You can't predict what is going to happen in a seasons time, you don't know where we are going to be, what squad we are going to have, what manager etc etc.
Yes it is. He was going to invest 90 million into the new stadium, but obviously getting permission took years, and he just gave up on it.
Cheers pal, fans in our league are saying if we don't go up with our squad this season, we'll be laughing stocks. We have an incredible League One squad...
He'll sign a new contract at the end of the summer, we aren't going to miss that trick.
He is happy being in a strongly promotion tipped squad, and if we do go up, he will be in the same boat as he will with you, but just with a club he is settled in with, as well as his family.
Bring him down to Bristol. Ulloa and Baldock front pairing in League One, with Jay Emmanuel-Thomas playing in the hole behind him, with Freeman and Wagstaff behind him, hmm.. ;)
Yes, as McInnes was en charge. He was the reason we went down. He was useless. Completely out of his depth. From a club like St Johnstone to Bristol City was far to big a step up. The overall quality of the SPL is below Championship standard, bar of course, Celtic.
For the many of you asking, our owner is absolutely loaded.
We have completely cleared the wage bill of all the shite (Fontaine, Pearson etc.) we had, and are currently in a very good financial position.
We have spent big this summer, with much more to come.
That was an incredible amount for him to score in that team. The midfield was absolutely SHOCKING. The lack of creativity was ridiculous, and that midfield we had would of struggled in League One. Our squad we had that season was embarrassingly bad, and we deserved to be relegated by the amount...
First off, hands off ;)
He's quality. Absolutely quality. First half of the season, his conversion rate to chances was 1 to 4, Cotterill took over, and he was netting at any half chance, seen a dramatic improvement in the second half of the season.
Baldock I am fairly certain won't be going...
This style of football is what Cotterill is currently implementing on the squad, and Adam could fit into this nicely. The bloke deserves a chance, I've seen him put in quality performances for your lot, I know he has the ability.
