Well for your lot asking for Rhodes and McCormack, are you honestly expecting to get them two for less than 10k a week? It would be over double that.

No , one person is asking for those .

He also likes sausages, and protesting in the buff . :lolol:

10k sorry, typo there.

He was on 20k in the Championship, but suffered a 50% wage cut; due to relegation.

Ridiculous wage for a 2nd tier player. No wonder Bristol City went down with a wage bill that was 150% of their turnover. He'll go for nothing at the end of the season.

I'd hope we could afford £20K for the right forward otherwise something is wrong with our accounts,Forwards score goals, goals obviously win games and as result strikers command higher wages/bonus,but i doubt we could afford £7m in fees never mind £40k a week..

For the many of you asking, our owner is absolutely loaded.

We have completely cleared the wage bill of all the shite (Fontaine, Pearson etc.) we had, and are currently in a very good financial position.

We have spent big this summer, with much more to come.

I assume the re development of AG is being funded by him, good luck to you and about time you got yourselves back up to the 2nd tier at least, and then like us to have a go at the Premier,Bristol as a city have underachieved a wee bit over the years football wise considering the size of the place..

He'll sign a new contract at the end of the summer, we aren't going to miss that trick.

He is happy being in a strongly promotion tipped squad, and if we do go up, he will be in the same boat as he will with you, but just with a club he is settled in with, as well as his family.

Mmmm, not really, he'll be pushing for playoffs with us, if you do go up he'll be looking to avoid relegation in the first season. That's at least 2 seasons away for him.

If you do ever challenge the top of the championship he'll be pushing 30

So you'll probably be paying 15-20k a week for a 3rd tier player.

What are the FFP rules for league 1&2?

Yes it is. He was going to invest 90 million into the new stadium, but obviously getting permission took years, and he just gave up on it.

Cheers pal, fans in our league are saying if we don't go up with our squad this season, we'll be laughing stocks. We have an incredible League One squad this season, and all the best players who didn't go up in League One last season, we seem to be picking up, Luke Freeman, Little etc. Also signing Luke Ayling now, who turned down your lot a few days ago to come here.

Well, who expected us to get to the play off final in 2008 in our first season back in the Championship?

You can't predict what is going to happen in a seasons time, you don't know where we are going to be, what squad we are going to have, what manager etc etc.

Quite. With the money they spent, many predicted that QPR and Forrest would walk their way to the top 2 in the championship last year.

Did not know we were in for him,but perhaps as is a reason for many players turning down one club over another is not always financial, he/family are settled in an area..
